ronithebear asked: Heyo, I found a photo by one of my favorite photographers (He runs the blog called The Sartorialist) of his barber, and I thought to submit it because dapper, no-nonsense fat dudes are the win, but the requirements kind of stopped me. Would it be alright to submit the photo, or are you looking strictly for personal submissions?

It’s a tough question because I want to see “dapper, no-nonsense fat dudes” celebrated, but at the same time it’s important to remember that not all people like to be identified as fat, or death fat.

There is also the issue of ownership. If you took the pic submitted it then I would have no issue with that. You own the photo and you can do with it as you please.

If it is something on tumblr, perhaps submit a link to it and I can reblog it if it is appropriate. Or contact The Sartorialist and see if he would allow you to submit it - he might love that.

I did set up the submissions thing in a bit of a rush so I’ll change it up a bit and try and make it a bit more clearer. :)
