The Men of Death Fats

I have often been told or seen people say that fat men have it easier, and this kind of categorical dismissal is uncalled for. So thank you, and I am most definitely following and likely submitting stuff.

I think men have a lot of privilege in society today that has been built up over many, many years and even if we don’t consciously aim to be privileged, it is there and I personally accept that.

Speaking from my experience as a fat man, I don’t think that fat men have it any easier. Perhaps there was a time when men (or any size) didn’t have to care about their dress sense and style and could get away with wearing almost anything. I know that when I was growing up, I was told that I should just be happy to find what I could to wear.

Over the last few years though I’ve discovered that I like to look good. I don’t wish to settle for whatever is available in my size. I want good quality, well fitting clothes that make me feel awesome.
